This 6-week online course will teach you the basics of reading Western musical notation. 
 
This course is for students aged 13 and up who want to learn how to read Western musical notation. No music reading experience is necessary, we'll start from the very beginning. Adult beginners of all ages are welcome!
 
These classes are currently being offered as a series of 6 60-minute, one-on-one lessons.
 
Topics we will cover include:
Note reading
Rhythm reading and concepts
Finding notes on the piano or your instrument of choice
Time signatures
Key signatures
Articulations and other score markings
Following a score
